MK-677 availability??

Do you have any idea when MK-677 will be in stock? I know purity is an issue from the previous posts, but i was wondering if you found a distributor that you might work with. If you have any info or update, that would be helpful.

You could try to column the stuff again (presuming that they already did that). My guess is they might have tried to remove it with EtoAc + EtOH. That's why there's probably still EtoAc in there...
The only thing that MIGHT get rid of all the side products is probably a recrystallization. If that doesn't fix it, you'll have to demesylate, purify, and remesylate....That's just off the top of my head though.
There's another PhD that I work with who has done some great synthesis work with green catalysts like MsOH and microwave chemistry. I'll have to get back to you next week, she won't be in until then, and she's had great familiarity with purification when using alkylated sulfonic acids.
Unfortunately, the bulk of my work was based on synthesis of pyrrole nucleosides. While many of the techniques apply, the particulars do not, so I'll have to defer to her judgement.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Seems like they rushed part of the synth, and it would take some doing to fix after the fact.
