Do you have any idea when MK-677 will be in stock? I know purity is an issue from the previous posts, but i was wondering if you found a distributor that you might work with. If you have any info or update, that would be helpful.

Does your HPLC person have a general understanding of synthesis to make suggestions as well?
I would try with a tiny sample(at least until I have a definite answer for you) resolvate, sep funnel, run a plug or a column, then recrystallize, vacuum filter. After filter rerun the HPLC /FTIR.

No, she is more the analytical side (analytical forensics degree). I'll eventually bring some people on board with more organic/synthetic chemistry experience. Right now we are mostly doing analysis and QA/QC work. As we start doing more of our own R&D on new compounds and extracts, we'll have more use for someone with that experience. My late partner understood synthesis a lot better than I do. My interest has traditionally been pharmacology/neurochemistry, but I am trying to pick up analytical and synthetic as mush as I can, when I have time.
