New Vendor Launch! Thrivous.com

Hi /r/nootropics.

My name's Lincoln Cannon, and I'm CEO at Thrivous. Thrivous is a brand new nootropic vendor. Sales of our first product, Clarity, began less than a month ago. And we're excited to share it with you. Of course I don't have to ask for it here, but please know I welcome your questions and feedback, both positive and negative.

Like many of you, I've been using nootropics for years. Most of the time, I've purchased individual ingredients to facilitate experimentation, and to avoid the high prices and secret formulas of premade stacks.

Over the years, when friends have learned that I use nootropics, they've often asked for recommendations. I tend to be conservative in matters of health, particularly when making recommendations to others, so I would generally direct them to natural supplements with the best supporting research for nootropic effect.

Several months ago, inspired by all the nootropic bottles next to my sink, my wife and I had a conversation about the [sorry state of affairs among premade stacks](https://thrivous.com/blogs/views/97432769…

What they were answering

Who is CTLA (Contract Testing Laboratories of America)? I do not see that testing lab anywhere, and there is no number to call to verify the analyses. Also, none of those tests assess purity, nor do they list the methods used to ID the compound. The reason I mention this is that much of the Rhodiola and Panax Ginseng coming out of China right now is mislabeled, and not only the wrong species, but does not contain the ingredients in the percentages stated. A lot of Rhodiola Rosea right now is actually Rhodiola Crenulata. A lot of the Panax Ginseng is American Ginseng or Siberian Ginseng. You have to run HP-TLC analyses to determine the species used in the extracts. Also, the UV-VIS methods for ginsenoside content are not accurate. You have to run HPLC. So I would probably push your lab to do more analysis to ensure the ingredients are what they are stated to be.

Other than that, giving out the amounts of each ingredient is the way to go. That's how stacks should be done. So bravo for that. Your price is also good too. Just make sure the ingredients you are using have been fully verified by HP-TLC and HPLC by a trusted lab that people can contact to verify the results. It makes me a bit suspicious that I cannot find a lab using CTLA anywhere.

Then I would suggest attacking it from a more natural approach. Supplement L-phenylalanine for dopamine, and tryptophan for serotonin. You can have some NALT around for short term boosts of dopamine, as I find that to be

Is there a lab that tests and reports on nootropic content? Like labdoor, who sadly aren't doing it yet
