Would taking SEMAX prevent some of the benefits of exercise? Would it potentiate others?

So SEMAX appears to be a good drug to prevent hypoxia related neuronal damage. As such, it seems plausible that taking semax during intense aerobic exercise would be a good way to reduce the damage that could potentially take place with it.
However, would it reduce the expression of VEGF? If that were the case, what would you say is better: less hypoxia or more VEGF? It seems like a part of the VEGF that acts on the brain is actually produced outside of it so my guess is that taking SEMAX before exercise would produce a net gain. I'm no medical authority though, so I ask /r/Nootropics.
My other question is if SEMAX, being that it increases the response to amphetamine, would be beneficial in regards to the motivation boost produced by exercise through dopamine and beta-phenilalanine increase.
Do you see any other reason to take SEMAX apart from the previous? Has anyone experimented with the effects of SEMAX on mood or performance while exercising?

enhances the expression of genes that encode chemokines
How would you say this would affect healthy young adults during exercise? It should accelerate adaptations and improvement of one's fitness, right?

Yeah, it should help exercise capacity in healthy adults without asthma issues, by promoting the processes that clear toxins from muscles, and increasing repair of the tissue.
