It seems to potentiate AMPA currents without have a mechanism for closing the channel when it is being over activated. So it can exacerbate excitotoxicity; especially when mixed with stimulants. There are reports of people going to the hospital after taking too much. I've found that even low dosages make me feel over-stimulated.
Obviously I sell things that have risk profiles. However, I try to avoid selling things that I feel are not safe. Many things don't have a lot of human studies behind them. So that distinction may not be as objective as some would like. I'm sure I can improve on things, but I certainly do care about the safety of the community.
