Noticed that there might be a problem with the peptide.

That sounds like a low blow. I don't know the folks at Ceretropic well, but MisterYouAreSoDumb definitely has shown concern for the /r/Nootropics community, has helped build the community, and has demonstrably spent time and money to protect the community from unsafe products.
Also, it seems kind of crappy to talk about "fat stacks of money" when a vendor is dealing with payment processing issues. Ceretropic is an aggressive and ambitious innovator, but at least from my perspective I don't perceive that this innovation is driven out of greed.
I do however think it's fair to raise the point that modifying molecules even slightly modifies their biological properties, sometimes quite substantially. Seemingly small changes in structure can lead to substantial changes in pharmacokinetics, and indeed underlying pharmacology, compared to the parent molecule.
So, NA Semax cannot be casually equated to Semax, NA Selank cannot be casually equated to Selank. There are differences, and the safety significance of the differences is an unknown. It's also worth pointing out that the MOA of these peptides is not conclusively understood.
Lots of threads for well studied materials are tagged "High Risk", and some little studied materials are likewise tagged "High Risk", while other totally new and unstudied materials are not tagged risky in any way. There does not seem to be a systema…

I think we do need to do a better job with the tagging system. It needs to have more distinction, and be more clear to casual readers. I am all for any suggestions for what we think that should look like. I can then bring it up with the other mods, and come up with a standard.
