Amidate. What does it mean when a noot has amidate?

I saw the new epitalon amidate is out...but what does the 'amidate' actually do? As I read it, amidate is for "Inducing general anesthesia"

It means the C-terminus of the peptide is capped with an amide. That protects the C-terminus from enzymatic degradation, and neutralizes the charge of the peptide. That makes it less susceptible to breaking down in the body, and allows it to pass lipid membranes quicker.
