Do you know any vendors who sell r-phenylpiracetam ?
"The effect of (R)-phenylpiracetam is much stronger than that of methylphenidate and amphetamine. Moreover, (S)-phenylpiracetam produces only a very weak effect at 100 mg/kg, which is 2.5 times lower than (R)-phenylpiracetam, and no significant effect at 200 mg/kg."
"[0055] More detailed pharmacological data with (R)-phenylpiracetam have been published recently by the same authors (Zvejniece et al., Basic Clin Pharmacol Toxicol. 109, 407-12, 201 1 ). In the open-field test a significant increase in locomotor activity was found, which was just slightly stronger with the (R)-phenylpiracetam compared to (S)- phenylpiracetam. Also in the forced swim test, used as a model for depression, (R)- phenylpiracetam was also only slightly more potent than (S)-phenylpiracetam. However, in the passive avoidance test, (R)-phenylpiracetam enhanced memory function significantly better than (S)-phenylpiracetam. The authors conclude that these results may be important for the clinical use of optically pure isomers of phenylpiracetam"

Yeah, this all sounds like a study in human nature. It's hard to pursue greatness with parties that are only looking for a profit margin. Fortunately, there is plenty of progress to be made with the synthesis of enantiomeric compounds.
So how do they manage to mass produce levo- and dexamphetamine? Those are enantiomeric, aren't they? Is that just an example of the deep pockets of Big Pharma?

There is a much larger market for those. If people fully understood the sheer numbers going on in the pharmaceutical industry, they would be dumbfounded. Even basic pharma companies without any revenues are worth $100 million. It's insane.
GTX, the company behind Ostarine and Toremifene Citrate, has zero revenues. However, they are currently worth $129 Million at the current share price. The company that markets Memantine, Forest Laboratories, made $3.1 Billion in 2013. Teva, the largest generic manufacturer of dextroamphetamine, are currently worth $60.38 Billion. You can bet they have the money to do whatever they want, whenever they want.
I will bring out many of these enantiopure compounds at some point. Do not worry about that. I just need to make sure I do things in an economically feasible manner. Someday I will be able to just throw money at them till they do the synths, or I'll have my own lab.
