What exactly is the appeal of piracetam over others?

I reordered a jar of it before the acquisition problems started and I'm wondering why everyone is flipping their shit over it when I keep seeing aniracetam, noopept and phenylpiracetam consistently used and praised over piracetam
Edit: thanks for the on topic replies for those that did. Discussing regulation is one thing but the politics have gotten beyond off topic and rather inflammatory

Are you just now finding out about how corrupt the United States is lol? Nootropics Depot owner u/MisterYouAreSoDumb has talked about how they randomly seized shipments of Piracetam without notice, and are opting to ban the sale of Piracetam in the United States, leading to skyrocketing prices of Piracetam. I believe also that China has banned the production of Phenylpiracetam, but that Nootropics Depot was already overstocked. It'd be reasonable to suggest it's because these are prescription drugs in parts of Europe. But it's beyond stupid and it's super fucked up that they're taking away things that help people from the people, with no good reason other than an oppressive greed. To fuck with capitalism I guess, can't get any amount of freedom these days. How long until they ban my favorite nootropics so far Bromantane and Sulbutiamine? Sulbutiamine was already pulled off of Amazon. We live in a rare period where it's possible to be a better doctor for your mental health than a psychiatrist is capable of doing, because all pharmacies provide is poison that feels good, and they make a killing from it. I hate where this is going.

If anyone is still under the misconception that the governments of the world are doing the best thing for their citizens, they are not paying attention. It's all about profit and greed. It's not capitalism's fault, though. We don't really have capitalism in the US anymore. It's a corporatocracy. Large companies use lobbying at the government level to shut competition out, and prevent actual capitalism from solving the issues. The government is facilitating this by using force to prevent competition, and limit innovation. Entrenched companies make fuckloads of money by keeping other people out of their slice of the industry. Having competitors come in and force change upsets their free meal ticket. So they use their money to bribe the government to block people for them. Preventing competition is much easier than having to compete in an ever-changing market. Real capitalism would force companies to compete with each other for what is best for the consumer. When you add government into the equation, you remove the free market.
I get the need to prevent fraud and harmful products. I really do. A 100% free market would be a shitshow, too. However, we have gone well past the government working for the people, and are far into the government working on behalf of the corporations. There has to be a balance between letting the markets be free and letting the government pick the winners and losers. We are proof that you can still be successful doing things right in this country, but I have fought SO HARD to get to this point. I can't even begin to tell you how hard I have fought for this. I completely changed my life to make this happen. I put everything else on hold for years, and had to get through countless worst days of my life to see this through, and we are still fighting every day. People should be free to choose what they put into their own bodies. People should be free to break out of the status quo to live their best life! If they find something that works, and makes their life better, taking it from them in the name of profit, but under the guise of safety, is immoral.
That being said, most companies out there are pieces of shit. I get the need for regulation. I really do. Morally bankrupt people will always take advantage of whatever they can. So I get why we need some regulation. This is just not the way. Anyway, I can rant for days about all this. It's disheartening seeing it all.
