China just gives so few fucks. I wonder, do they make nice things for themselves, or is it just corner-cutting across the board and damn the consequences?
And how do the unreliable manufacturers that make these failures stay in business? Who continues to buy these things from these people once they get the first one and it breaks in front of them?

Don't get me wrong, there are quality Chinese suppliers. Our liquid piston filler and new automated labeling machine were made by a good manufacturer in China. It's just for every 1 quality company, there are 10 shitty ones trying to screw you. So unless you have a prior relationship with the company, you are rolling the dice.
Shit, we paid $100 for a box company to make us some mockup new custom boxes for us. Now they just stopped responding to us. I'm sure they just sit there and scam little bits off people all day. We've been scammed over $15,000 over the course of doing business the past few years. It's just a risk. Nobody cares, and nobody will do anything about it. You just have to move on to the next one.
