Phenylethylidenehydrazine Update?

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone had an update on the phenylethylidenehydrazine synthesis?
I would also like to bring attention to a few novel compounds, that may be interesting to further research for anxiolytic and or depression purposes: Eptapirone, Flesinoxan, Aloradine.
What they were answering

Is there anything that you legitimately think is safe (and effective long-term) to take somewhat chronically that reliably raises hedonic tone in otherwise normal/healthy people? Or are we just not there yet in finding a substance or set of substances to safely defeat the brain's tendency toward equilibrium.
Edit: Kratom and to a lesser, but probably safer extent, tianeptine seem to be the best candidates from my perspective.
Edit2: I suppose I'll make a new post for this, even though /r/nootropics may not ultimately be the correct forum

Everything is going to have certain tradeoffs. The more dopaminergic the substance is, the more effective it will be. However, it will also build tolerance faster, and have a higher risk of addiction. Acting directly on the dopamine system, with a reuptake inhibitor or releaser, is going to do that faster than other more gentle/natural ways of modulating the dopamine system.
