Should I expect to "feel" something from a Nootropic?

I understand that in some cases the answer is yes. However, when I was introduced to Nootropics, like the racetams, I was told that its not going to be like getting a buzz...this was what drew me because I was not looking for a legal high or something childish like that. I was told that I would do research, starting with natural supps as a baseline, and then add racetams for a period of time at a regular dose and schedule. The effects would be subtle, defines over the course of a month or so, and would include increased cognition that may result in subtle mood change, perspective etc. I feel like Nootropics are more and more marketed for their immediate effects-Aniracetam for anxiety, Oxiracetam for stimulant and so on... Am I missing something?

What is the dosing schedule? Is it taken daily or as needed or cycled? I'm only familiar with sulbitiamine as one of the B-relates noots.

Dosing is 100-400mg. I usually use 250mg myself. You can take it daily, or as needed. People have reported that the effects get better with continual dosing.

My experiences with high dose (100mg+) tianeptine over a two month period

You need to start tapering off it now! You are not using it properly, and are going to cause yourself harm. Tianeptine is hard on the liver at those dosages. It is not meant to be taken at 650mg/day. Your usage is irresp
