Should I expect to "feel" something from a Nootropic?

I understand that in some cases the answer is yes. However, when I was introduced to Nootropics, like the racetams, I was told that its not going to be like getting a buzz...this was what drew me because I was not looking for a legal high or something childish like that. I was told that I would do research, starting with natural supps as a baseline, and then add racetams for a period of time at a regular dose and schedule. The effects would be subtle, defines over the course of a month or so, and would include increased cognition that may result in subtle mood change, perspective etc. I feel like Nootropics are more and more marketed for their immediate effects-Aniracetam for anxiety, Oxiracetam for stimulant and so on... Am I missing something?

How's it compare with Piracetam/Aniracetam?

Totally different mechanism. It's more of an antioxidant/membrane stabilizer, and also has the ability to modulate GABA binding.

I've been using piracetam for over two years. AMA

No offense, but why are you posting this? You have been taking very low doses of piracetam, irregularly, without any real testing, and with very little experience with other Racetams. I don't want to sound like a dick, b

Phenylpiracetam would theoretically metabolize into phenibut, why does nobody ever mention this?

Interesting thought. However, phenylpiracetam is not metabolized in any meaningful amounts, and is excreted mostly unchanged in urine and sweat. Approximately 40% of the dose administered is excreted with urine, and abou
