Anyone else take L-theanine every day?

So, since discovering theanine a couple months ago, I've turned a couple friends onto it and use it a lot myself. Sometimes with caffeine, sometimes before bed, especially if I've been drinking, and sometimes just to chill. But that all adds up to me taking 200-400 mg about every day. I don't use any prescription drugs or many pills at all except for things like pepto-bismol and ibuprofen.
I know theanine is new and all, and there isn't too much research on the subject, so I'll settle for anecdotal evidence for now. Does anyone else take theanine every day, and have you discovered a tolerance or other side effects?
Thanks!

To be fair you'd have a drink a lot of green tea to get a typical dose of l-theanine!

Not really. Shade-grown green tea can have as much as 46mg per cup. Regular black tea has about 20mg per cup. I drink pots of the stuff a day.
The sun converts the L-theanine into polyphenols during the growth of the leaves. That is why shade-grown green tea, like Matcha and Gyokuro, have higher L-theanine amounts. It does not take much to reach 100-200mg.
