Noohack.com example of hyperbolic exaggerating language.

Original post in this thread

Sorry to call you out Noohack, but it pisses me off to see companies do this. You're new and you should not go down this road. You're not the only company that exaggerates the effects of nootropics, but this is one of the worst examples I've seen in a while, barring a few notable exceptions.

Oxiracetam does not give you a photographic memory, no "nootropic" does, at least not yet. (And no, saying "near" doesn't help). This is such an exaggeration it might as well be a lie. The old Nootropics.co.uk used to sell similar products (pressed pills of pure powder), but from what I saw they only repeated what the scientific literature said and gave you links to all those studies if you wanted to see them. There's many ways to make a substance sound more effective than it is in a much more honest way.

I expect most people that come to the site anyway will be people that already know about the substance and just want a good deal from a trustworthy vendor. If people (are stupid enough) to buy a product without researching it first, they will be disappointed and you'll have to deal with the complaints and you may even put someone off nootropics com…

However, bringing me up in a post about outlandish marketing claims seems crazy to me. I don't make marketing claims!

I know right? I am guessing its just a few people though. The original guy almost certainly downvoted me since it went to 0 almost straight away.

Both are research chemicals, since neither of them have been through FDA safety trials.

Thing is they still aren't comparable because phenylpiracetam hydrazide is a new compound (and a true "research chemical") whereas Tianeptine is just labeled a research chemical for legal reasons. The guy brought this up purely because he said he was "butthurt" over the name "hydrafinil". As I said in my post I cant see why he could get all that "butthurt" about it unless he bought it without reading the description which seems quite a stupid thing for anyone to admit.

Cephalon decided to name (RS)-2benzhydrylsulfinylethanehydroxamic acid, adrafinil.

Ahh ....So its still not like my analogy to Cephalon hypothetically naming armodafinil Armophetamine. Even the chemical "modafinil" is still more of a brand name than something like "benzodiazepine" or "amphetamine"?

9-fluorenol has the same dual phenyl structure in it that modafinil has, just with an extra carbon bond.

I can see your point after you explained it here.

Cephalon discovered adrafinil, named it, and patented it. So they got to call it whatever they wanted. I just overstepped a bit, and decided to give a better name to something that already had one, but was being used for a different purpose. It seemed to stick, because most people use that name now. There are even other vendors selling "Hydrafinil" but not getting it from us. 9-hydroxyfluorene just does not roll off the tongue.

Replying to homosuperiorr · I planned to order some Selank, Adrafinil, Phenylpiracetam and Tianeptine, do you think I could have a problem in customs with that stuff?

No, that should be fine. Just use our standard mail option. That seems to always get there. I just checked our shipping history. Of our last 10 shipments to Poland, only one was sent back. I think the customer did not pa

Awesome! I am glad you like them. I must just be weird, because I actually like the taste of the noopept. Everyone, including Jason, says that it is not pleasant. I never minded powdered noopept under my tongue, though.

It is what it is. The oxycodone after my shoulder surgery is the real culprit in all this. That's what led to the changes in my brain, and I have been dealing with that ever since. I have gone off kratom completely a few
