Harm reduction from TeamTLR? Wow, longecity keeps getting more absurd by the day.
In my experience, abrupt cessation after highish (30-50mg 4-5 times/day) doses leads to two or three days of lethargy and some very mild but uncomfortable symptoms similar to opioid withdrawal... maybe similar to a month or two of taking Vicodin for pain but not much like the withdrawal from high potency mu agonist abuse. Considering that opioids do have a place as antidepressants (see the Harvard buprenorphine study), I don't think this means it's a quick fix or just masking depressive symptoms like the post suggests--any more than other antidepressants anyway.
I took it for about a year at 10-15mg doses 4-5 times a day and didn't notice much in the way of withdrawal. I think tolerance is a much bigger issue but some of the points about withdrawal are worth discussing (and have been discussed here before), I just wouldn't really trust TeamTLR for that information as it's likely to dovetail into an advertisement for one of their antiaddictive Optimized Xtracts.

I may or may not have just went on a rant on their post on Longecity...
