SEMAX as an antidepressant?

Since both SEMAX and ketamine have been shown to increase BDNF singificantly after adminstration.[1][2]
Furthermore, BDNF increase is suggested as a biomarker relevant to antidepressant response for ketamine[2] and other more common antidepressants.[3]

Soo, did anyone notice any kind of effects on depression/low mood from SEMAX?
NOTE: I don't have any experience with SEMAX.

It certainly gives me an uplifting feeling. It is like the feeling after a good workout. Just a nice natural stimulated feeling with some elevated mood. Combining it with tianeptine works even better.
That being said, depression is a very complicated thing. Not everyone is going to experience it in the same way. I do think those suffering from certain types of lethargic depression could benefit from it. However, one's doctor should be consulted before trying to use it as a treatment.
