SEMAX as an antidepressant?

Since both SEMAX and ketamine have been shown to increase BDNF singificantly after adminstration.[1][2]
Furthermore, BDNF increase is suggested as a biomarker relevant to antidepressant response for ketamine[2] and other more common antidepressants.[3]

Soo, did anyone notice any kind of effects on depression/low mood from SEMAX?
NOTE: I don't have any experience with SEMAX.

First, can we all agree to stop caps locking semax? It's not an acronym, and it's never referenced this way in the journals.
I'm not sure that semax would make for the best AD. From my personal experience the comedown is similar to low dose amphetamine. I tend to be slightly more anxious and prone to negative thinking. Selank, on the other hand, is by far a much better AD. The true magic with selank is after the acute effects wear off. Anhedonia obliterated.

That is how our peptide lab has written it from the beginning, and I just got used to writing it that way. Now I just do it automatically. However, not with caps lock. I hold down the shift key, like a man.
It is funny how far it has permeated, though. If it would really make you feel better, I will lax up on the shift key... just for you.
