How to increase BDNF?
Original post in this thread

For the past few years, I have been suffering from troubling symptoms. Some of the symptoms are depersonalization/derealization, constant anxiety, inability to concentrate, mood swings, emotional numbness, sensory overloads, and poor memory. Strangely, over the years I have noticed that a few things produced positive results. These include exercise, fasting, and sleep deprivation. I realized that all three of these have one thing in common. They trigger an increase in BDNF. What drugs, supplements, or other lifestyle choices can increase BDNF?

Also, cardio exercise increases BDNF.
Overeating, and diets high in saturate fat/sugar decrease BDNF.
Companionship and social interaction increase BDNF.
So eat right, hit the gym, and find a mate. The latter is easier after the first two. In the meantime, you can take things like Tianeptine to help get your mood in a place that you want to do those things.
