Memantine and it's effect on sleep

I recently discovered an effect memantine has on my sleep. If i take it before I go to bed, usually really late between 3-6, and wake up just a few hours later for work at 7, I feel zero exhaustion whatsoever. I really just feel the effects of the drug. It also helps glutamate rebound and low blood sugar side effects massively in the morning during a hangover, additionally.
Has anyone experienced this with memantine? I understand its a purely anecdotal observation, but I suspect something is going on due to memantine.
What do you guys suspect? May it affect this though it's uncompetitive NMDA antagonism?

Is there any idea what it is that makes a substance "memantine resettable"? If it worked with antidepressants, that would be pretty great.

You have a tolerance to antidepressants? That is pretty much their mechanism. They require time to down-regulate your 5-HT receptors, which increases BDNF expression. The tolerance is actually part of how they work.
