New Vendor Launch! www.ceretropic.com

The time has finally come to launch our nootropics site! For those of you that don’t know, a fellow Redditor, /u/guacamolium, approached me a while back. He was interested in starting a nootropics vendor, and thought partnering with me would be a good fit. We pretty much always agreed with each other when speaking on this forum, and had similar visions for what we wanted in a vendor. So after many long discussions, we decided to go into business together. After much preparation, and many unforeseen bumps, we are ready to launch!

Our initial goal is going to be filling a part of the market that does not exist yet: nootropics in sublingual dropper vials. Many people always ask if they need a scale to be accurate, or how to conveniently and quickly capsule nootropics with accuracy. As many of you know, there really is no way to do that without a scale and time. For a lot of you, that’s not something high on the list of things you want to do. Enter sublingual dropper vials.

Over the years, I’ve taken a few supplements in dropper vials; and loved how easy it was to dose and be done with it. The main one I’ve always used was sublingual B vitamins. The ability to just wake up, grab th…

This looks great, nice job!

I was curious about the Adrafinil and the enzymatic activity necessary to produce Modafinil. Since it's sublingual, theoretically it would bypass the liver toxicity concerns with oral Adrafinil?

I'd imagine the caffeine would be more potent as well, since sublingual would avoid the first-pass metabolism?

That was our thought as well. It will bypass first pass metabolism, so it will definitely lessen the liver enzyme activity. However, it will still go through second pass metabolism.

The elevated liver activity seen in adrafinil is less than having a beer, so I am not too worried about it. We thought about perhaps including NAC or milk thistle in the solution at some point, just to calm people's fears.

Caffeine might be a little more potent sublingually, as it definitely does get metabolized in the liver. However, I have not quantified the amount. So I did not want to make claims that I had not verified yet.

Something is wrong with this sub

Yep, my fault guys. I'll just stop posting, and things will get better. It's all on me... You can all go back to caffeine/L-theanine, long winded modafinil, and "does piracetam work" posts. No need to advance the communi

What is the best nootropic for someone looking primarily for a boost of energy and motivation that's stronger than caffeine but less extreme than amphetamines?

6mg of melatonin is too much. I take .5-1mg. Melatonin has been shown to be much more effective at lower doses. Lower your dose and see how that works. 6mg would mean a very hard time waking up, and hours of foggyness in

Nootropics on a developing brain

First off, you are not really going at this from a nootropic standpoint. You are heavily reliant on multiple stimulants. You are hitting your adenosine receptors with the caffeine. You are hitting the histamine system wi

Modafinil Tolerance: Possible Modes of Action

I can 100% confirm that the CYP3A4 induction from modafinil is substantial. At least it is for me. If I take modafinil in the morning, then take a substance that is metabolized by CYP3A4 (i.e. kratom), then the effects a

Multiple nootropics: Bell-shaped response curve still in effect?

It's really very complicated. There is competitive binding affinities you have to consider. Plus, downstream mechanisms that may alter the effects. Not to mention the varying level of responses between different people.

Smart drugs: A dose of intelligence

Replying to BigYellowLemon · I have never read an article about nootropics that left me with anything but anger and annoyance. The only "nootropics" I ever hear about are methylphenidate, modafinil, caffeine

It's because the people that actually have something to say don't want to talk, and the people that want to talk have nothing to say. Did the world need another article about amphetamine, methylphenidate, and modafinil?
