What happens if you stop?

There's been very little research done on nootropics and cognitive enhancers in general, I'm not going to argue if it actually works or if it could all be a placebo. But, since we know so little on the scientific effects of nootropics, what happens when our minds becomes so accustomed to the chemical boost and then we stop taking them? Does the mind lose the ability to think rapidly or even lose the ability to focus on something without the chemical advantage?
I for one do not want to become dependent on a drug that could make me stupid(er) if I stop taking my regular dosage.

I find it interesting that coluracetam doesn't depress you, but regular choline does. They're obviously affecting more than just choline uptake!
Good deal. I like the Himalayan brand because I think they're a great deal (cost-wise), but I've got tabs - 3 of them equate to 180mg bacosides. At least that's what I last remember. Maybe I misread the label... which product do you use exactly? I'll take monetary savings wherever I can get 'em.
I like that attitude!! Commuting's overrated anyway. (Sunlight, not so much. Feels good to be out in the sun).

It's probably something to do with the balance of extracellular choline, to intracellular ACh. It seems that high extracellular choline levels depress me. Since coluracetam enhances choline uptake into neurons, that could be why it elevates my mood.
It seems there are two Himalaya versions. One says bacopa, and one says Brahmi. Mine is that latter, and is just 250mg of extract. The other version has like 3 different types of bacopa on the ingredients.
Normally I ride my mountain bike most days for my sunlight. However, the past few months I've been out of commission, due to my shoulder surgery. It really sucks!
