What happens if you stop?

There's been very little research done on nootropics and cognitive enhancers in general, I'm not going to argue if it actually works or if it could all be a placebo. But, since we know so little on the scientific effects of nootropics, what happens when our minds becomes so accustomed to the chemical boost and then we stop taking them? Does the mind lose the ability to think rapidly or even lose the ability to focus on something without the chemical advantage?
I for one do not want to become dependent on a drug that could make me stupid(er) if I stop taking my regular dosage.

Oh wow, nefiracetam! Don't see that too often. That's probably something I'll try someday (seeing as the alleged testicular / renal toxicity is pretty much null in humans).

That's quite the load, man. I imagine that's expensive to keep up! Or are you playing around with dosages / substances, too? I like how you're combining SAMe with TMG, from what I've read they function as methyl donors via different pathways.

What's the mg content of bacosides in your bacopa, by the way? I've heard ~150 is optimal (think I read that on Examine), but I don't have the world's stablest income, it'd be cool if I could get by with a lesser dosage. /chatterbox

Love that million miles a minute feeling. It's pretty bothersome if you're in traffic, though!! Happened to me today, lol. Olive stuffed with peppers sounds amazing.

I am trying out nefiracetam again, to see if the kidney pain comes back. So far so good. I just took some coluracetam as well, to see how the two interact. Pretty well it seems.

So far the SAMe has been great!

I am using Himalaya brand bacopa, which I believe is 60% bacosides. That gives 150mg per 250mg capsule.

Ohh I don't go out in traffic! I work from home, and only drive when all the other people are working or at home. Commuting? Fuck that!

Coluracetam is interesting because it's a choline uptake enhancer. I get depressive symptoms when I supplement too many choline precursors. However, when I take coluracetam, I get mood uplift. The mechanism is very inter

Every single Chinese supplier you use is going to screw up at some point. Every single one. Without testing, you are rolling the dice. Some suppliers have better odds than others. However, you will never know without tes

Racetams are not pointless without choline. There are a lot of other actions they have apart from facilitating ACh transmission. You also cannot bundle all the racetams together like that. Many of them have very differe

If you want a single substance to help with depression and anxiety, I would say tianeptine. I am taking it right now. It provides a very nice mood uplift for a couple hours. That's the only bad part is the short half lif
