I think a lot of us were upset when Nootropics Depot suddenly shut down last year. Matt and everyone at the Parmatrix team provided great products and services, and were a huge asset to the community. They were the first Nootropics company to have their own in-house testing lab, and helped me out with all manner of things. I also became very good friends with Matt and the whole crew over there. So when the executive decision was made to shut the site down, it came as a surprise to me as well. When they came back a couple months later with a drastically reduced product list, it was never really the same. Nobody was more heartbroken and frustrated than Matt. The company he worked hard to build was shut off, and he had to step back from the community that he loved to be a part of.
Since the executive decision was made to steer the larger company away from Nootropics, and Matt's hands were tied with what he could do. It was only a matter of time before the site shut down completely. Seeing the inevitable ahead, a couple months ago Matt approached me about a possible solution to the problem. He could not resurrect the company that he built from scratch, but I could. His hands were tie…

If it is the same product as Ceretropic carries why the pricing differences? Coluracetam is $18.99 at ND (1gm) $29.99 at Ceretropic.

Nothing is different. I never planned for Ceretropic to be big on powder sales. So we never bought large quantities to bring the price down. Now that we are going after the powder market more, we bought much larger quantities, and made suppliers come down on price for us. We are also planning on a lot more volume, which allows us to slash margins. I am not sure if it is going to work, but we are giving it a shot.
Ceretropic is going to be rebranding with new custom glass/aluminum jars, new custom magnetic enclosure boxes, and a much more high-end feel. We are also going to streamline the sizes we offer to make more sense for the audience. Let's face it, most people use Ceretropic for peptides, solutions, nasal sprays, and cool new compounds. Powder City was cheaper on basic powders. Nootropics Depot is going to allow us to change that. But it's not like we are using cheaper powders for one compared to the other. So if you want to save some money on powders, go with Nootropics Depot. They are both going to be the same quality.
