Can you please tell me why some people from here are using L-Phenylalanine and L-Tirosine instead of just using L-DOPA ? (L-Phenylalanine - while in the body - its biologically converted to L-Tirosine which in turn its biologically converted into L-DOPA which is further converted into dopamine, norepinephrine (noradrenaline), and epinephrine (adrenaline). )

Is tryptophan hydroxylase the same as L-tryptophan supplement? I took it for anxiety for about 6 months a few years ago. Should I be worried. I now have some depression do you think that overuse of the supplement may have caused this? If so, what would you do?

Tryptophan hydroxylase is your body's enzyme that creates 5-HTP from dietary tryptophan. Supplementing L-tryptophan should not be a cause of depression. What else were you taking?
