It looks very interesting. It seems to selectively inhibit PDE4D in the brain, causing hippocampal cAMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate) levels to rise. This enhances cascading signals via the adenylate cyclase pathway. The AC pathways are linked to various types of spatial and procedural learning.

Here is an article about type 3 AC receptors being involved in novel object recognition in mice.

Here is a full paper about AC type 5 being involved in plasticity and learning.

Here is an article about cAMP and Mg2+ involvement in long-term potentiation.

Any idea on dosage?

u/MisterYouAreSoDumb · Ceretropic

It looks like it was .003mg/kg in rats for the most effective dose.

>Collectively, the behavioural effects shown
by GEBR-7b indicate that the optimum dose to
improve spatial and object memory consolid
ation processes is approximately 0.003 mg/kg.
While lower doses are not effective enough, higher
doses show a decrease in efficacy, most
likely due to the accumulation of side-effects.

That's an extremely low dose.

You need to start tapering off it now! You are not using it properly, and are going to cause yourself harm. Tianeptine is hard on the liver at those dosages. It is not meant to be taken at 650mg/day. Your usage is irresp
