Subjectively for you it does. I have never heard this before, nor can I find any studies that indicate that. If you can, please link them. Regardless, to be a nootropic, a substance has to be non-toxic. DXM does not fit

Right. I am not suggesting that the dosage OP mentioned is dangerous. However, to be a nootropic, a substance must have very few side effects and low toxicity. I think we can all agree that DXM does not fit that.
