Trying to decide between Citicoline or Resonance Lions Mane to improve my memory, mood and blood flow to the brain

Original post in this thread

Okay hear me out and be kind because I’m still learning hahah.

Essentially I need to improve my memory, visual memory recall and my mood. I know the more blood flow to the brain the better.I know both citicoline and lions mane do all of these things but of course they are both different at the same time.

I also know they both can affect/increase serotonin and while being on Wellbutrin xl 150mg and Zoloft 50mg I do not want to have serotonin syndrome. It’s rare but I experienced a small amount of it when taking bromelain and it was not fun.

I’ve done small doses of lithium orotate for my mood while in these medications and it was great. Everything seemed to level out. Then when I read about the benefits of citicoline I thought this could be an alternative to help with my mood while also helping my memory and blood flow.

My main question is: Should I take resonance (linked) lions mane or citicoline?

My second question: Do I have to worry about serotonin syndrome?

Thanks so much in advance for any help and input.

Holy shit. I paid probably over 500$ over the course of a year buying their shit, thinking it was the golden standard of lions mane. This is actually insane. Won't be buying their crap again. Thank you!!!

Well they certainly try to claim it is, and then use accounts on /r/MushroomSupplements to push that narrative. Then they push the narrative that it's US THAT'S SHILLING... They claim we control the entire /r/Nootropics subreddit, even though I literally have not been on there in like a year. Kostya93 started the MushroomSupplements sub after he was banned by an /r/Nootropics moderator for shilling and not disclosing affiliations with Oriveda. I was not involved in that investigation, so I am not sure what data he used to make that conclusion, but he was certain of it. I was never fully certain. I knew they favored Oriveda, but I was not sure if they were actually affiliated. Then they forgot to log out of their account before using one of their shill accounts to promote Oriveda, and someone on Longecity caught it and screenshot it. Then they still came up with this idea it was all me. It's so dumb. I don't give one flying fuck about brands that make good products with proper lab testing. That's what I want in this industry! My fight is against lies and fraud that take advantage of consumers.

There is a ton of drama and history here on Reddit. Since I am vocal about calling out the bullshit I see, I make a lot of enemies. Those people then try to steer the narrative against me. Then they try to say I am steering the narrative. It's so dumb and childish. I am literally one of the only people in this industry trying to push the science forward simply for the passion of it all. If consumers could see what is behind most brands, and how they have literally nothing to them, they would be just as upset as me. Most brands are literally just shells. They use contract manufacturers to make the products, and then send to contract fulfillment companies or Amazon to fulfill. They mostly just do marketing, but even then most of them hire outside marketing and advertising firms to do it all. There is no substance behind most brands. I built an insane facility from the ground up, costing me tens of millions of dollars, and then hired some of the best people in the world that are passionate about our mission. We control each step to a degree that most brands can't even imagine, and we are doing science that nobody else in the world is. Everyone in the industry knows it, because we often work with people in the background. We supply other brands their ingredients, and do testing for others. The chief scientist at Thorne said we are the most advanced supplement company that nobody knows about, which is pretty poignant. Our focus is always on the science. Marketing is just not our strong suit, because we won't lie like all the other brands. But the real people in the background of this industry know how far ahead we are.

Anyway, you can tell I am annoyed by it all. I've dedicated the last 13 years of my life to trying to push this industry forward, and to advocate for consumers. Everything we say we are doing is the truth, and in fact we are doing so much more that we don't even talk about. Then almost every other brand just lies and misleads consumers. I fucking hate lying. I would be a lot less stressed if I could just let it all go, but I can't. I cannot stand to see consumers lied to, so I am constantly fighting shitheads in this industry.

That's a good one. Cognizin also has some research on improvement of eye sight, too. Alpha-GPC should provide similar effects as Cognizin. Noopept and prl-8-53 help as well. I'd give lion's mane a shot, too.
