Tiger Milk vs. Lions Mane? Repair Brain from THC use?
Original post in this thread

For cognitive and brain benefits solely such as memory, focus, some brain fog, and just being more present in general, which is the better of the two?
Also heard there may be a new lions mane later this week based on clues? Any info?
Also, I do microdose psilocybin and take some Infini-B on top. Wanting the ultimate brain stack for “repairing” MINOR damage done by THC usage over time which I’ve recently quit.

Hey I found it. It is actually in that podcast with Sam Banister. Go to the YouTube version and go to 1:42:40 and start there.
Hamilton and Dr. Banister are debunking how people talk about terpenes, with trace concentrations in the cannabis, and which show very limited receptor affinity of any kind, being a whack idea which people just believe because they believe.
They continue on to mention exactly what you're talking about as far as pharmacokinetic interaction being indisputable.
My gripe at this point in the discussion would be that the reality is, because of cultures which perpetuate beliefs that are scientifically unsupported and unlikely given the evidence we have, the term "entourage effect" is a loaded term with pseudoscience baggage accompanying it. I guess pharmacokinetic synergy would be more accurate if I'm going to propose a solution to the problem I've posed.
I completely believe in pharmacokinetic synergy which is how you have explained the Entourage effect, therefore it doesn't seem we disagree on the mechanisms. It seems we disagree on semantics.

Ohh, he is just talking about cannabis specifically, and the trace levels of some terpenes not being part of the effects. That I can kind of agree with. Some of the terpenes are not in high enough concentrations to really cause an effect, and some don't have direct effects. Some are, but a lot of it are the other cannabinoids that are present in there. I could see how a different term might be prudent. Still, I think it fits. Just because some of the cannabis claims with certain low level terpenes aren't based on solid footing, doesn't mean the idea of an entourage effect is a myth. Let's steal the term from them! How about that? It's our term now! LOL
