Tiger Milk vs. Lions Mane? Repair Brain from THC use?
Original post in this thread

For cognitive and brain benefits solely such as memory, focus, some brain fog, and just being more present in general, which is the better of the two?
Also heard there may be a new lions mane later this week based on clues? Any info?
Also, I do microdose psilocybin and take some Infini-B on top. Wanting the ultimate brain stack for “repairing” MINOR damage done by THC usage over time which I’ve recently quit.

Ok ok fair points! I'm getting ready for work, but I'm gonna try to find the clip I've got in mind. Maybe this will result in me retracting my earlier comment. This is the type of discussion I'm here for!
Even though I only got to take a quick glance at your comment, I just want to mention that I think I'm noticing we're treading a fine line regarding a nuance between synergies and the Entourage effect. Like I said earlier I understand scientifically that synergies are inarguable from a neurochemical perspective.

Is there a hard line distinction between synergies and the entourage effect? I guess the argument is that synergies are just two mechanisms that don't interact with each other combining to form a stronger effect, but that isn't "entourage" because they are just additive effects. However, my serotonin example debunks that pretty well. There are mechanisms that combine to create more than just an additive effect. Hell, take LTP for example. You need to activate the AMPA receptors first, which then creates the environment in the cell to allow binding of the NMDA receptor to open the calcium channel. This depolarizes the cell, and allows the magnesium blocking the channel to move away, allowing calcium to enter the cell and cause a signaling cascade. If you take a supplement that is a positive allosteric modulator of the AMPA receptor with another that binds to the NMDA receptor, or even the glycine binding site, that effect is going to be much stronger than just the sum of the effects of taking each individually. They work synergistically to cause an entourage effect. Even so, the term "entourage effect" was started in the cannabis community to explain the synergistic effects of different cannabinoids and terpenes to cause very different effects than any of them on their own. I don't think the definition really requires more complex mechanistic interactions leading to a multiplication effect, but again, I have not seen that clip yet. I don't know what his real argument is. However, the way my team and I use the term entourage effect is something that really can't be disputed.
