FDA regulates supplements as if it were food instead of drugs, so they’re not allowed to intentionally mislabel or put known harmful substances in it still, but chemical purity is not regulated, unless they make a medical claim

Chemical purity is absolutely regulated. Read 21 CFR 111. All supplements have to be at or above label claim, within reason. The USP monograph generally allows for a 10% variance, so that means supplements should contain 100-110% of what they claim to. It's just not evenly enforced.
