My Dog On Tiger Milk 21 Days

Original post in this thread

My 16/17yr old Yorkie developed a terrible cough around late Feb or early March. Took her to the vet & they did some scans & she had a bad infection, plus she was diagnosed with Kidney failure. She did 14 days of an antibiotic, plus rx kidney food. The cough didn’t sound as bad after the antibiotics, but she still coughs a lot.

Fast forward to June 23. I decided I would start giving her TMM bc of the respiratory & immune enhancing effects. I was only nervous about it making her stomach upset, but I had given her Turkey Tail a couple years earlier & she had no problems with the Beta Glucan/prebiotics causing any GI distress. I started giving her a small amount & now give her about 1/5 of a pill at 7pm.

In the past 5 days or so, I have noticed her constant coughing has lessened, a lot. She lives with my parents, but I go over to their house every night to eat dinner & to see her & I give her the TMM in a stew that is for “Senior 15yrs+ Digestion & Kidney Support.” I just texted my Dad if he has been noticing her cough less during the day, & he said she is coughing less.

Hopefully her health keeps improving bc it didn’t look so good in March to May, but she has improved so much…

Awesome. I actually have some Astragaloside IV in my cabinet. I also give her drops of a dog/cat kidney formula & it has Astragalus in it. Maybe I should start giving her the A IV instead of that. My parents also have a cat that has some series snottage going on to the point where she will blow the biggest piece of mucus you can imagine. She is prescribed nose drops & after you dose her, she starts to sneeze & will let loose. I told my Mom we should give her the Tiger Milk too, but she said no. My Mom is extremely OCD about germs, chemicals, & stuff like that. They won’t even give her liquid muconex bc of that, even though it is dog/cat safe.

I don't push things on people. Some people are weird, and just don't trust anything. I will never be able to get my grandma to take a supplement, no matter what research I show her. If her doctor prescribes it, she will take it without a second thought. She was having anxiety issues, and I see how little she eats. I know she is low on magnesium, but she won't take it. MAGNESIUM! It's like the safest thing out there that we need in our diets, but unless her doctor prescribes it, she is skeptical... and I am her grandson, who owns the company! LOL
