Are there benefits/detriments to taking ND's Berberine+Silymarin tablets before or after drinking alcohol?

I take ND's Berberine/Silmarin tablets in part to minimize liver damage from alcohol consumption. That said, I haven't been able to find anything regarding when they would best be ingested, and more specifically, whether consuming a tablet shortly prior to, while, or shortly after drinking alcohol would be beneficial or (more importantly) detrimental in any way.
Does anyone, including especially a member of the ND staff, have further information about this?

Any difference between Berberine//Silymarin tablets and capsules? Have you tested Berberine//Silymarin capsules? Some stomach pain or absortion problems? I have tablets yet. It works well for me. I suppose that ND offers capsules format to mitigate demand of Berberine//Silymarin. In the near future, ND will offers tablets format. Is it ok?

They are not done yet. They should work the same as the tablets, though. No reason for them to act any differently.
I can't say if we will offer tablets going forward. Berberine is just very hard to work with, and we are not having luck with the tablet formulation this time.
