Are there benefits/detriments to taking ND's Berberine+Silymarin tablets before or after drinking alcohol?

I take ND's Berberine/Silmarin tablets in part to minimize liver damage from alcohol consumption. That said, I haven't been able to find anything regarding when they would best be ingested, and more specifically, whether consuming a tablet shortly prior to, while, or shortly after drinking alcohol would be beneficial or (more importantly) detrimental in any way.

Does anyone, including especially a member of the ND staff, have further information about this?

It's been a massive pain in the ass with the Berberine/Silymarin... Just one thing after another. We are moving to capsules now. I am pushing to have them ready this week sometime.
