No problem! We actually went through something similar ourselves. It was not a patent, but a trademark. Same process, though. Someone trademarked "noopept" and the morons at the USPTO gave it to them... These people then tried to take our site down with DMCA notices to our hosting company. We fought them in court and got their trademark invalidated. It cost us $50,000. However, we had to do it to protect the market. We also didn't try to take the trademark ourselves. We got the courts to rule that it was not a trademarkable word. So now the market is protected from asshats trying to take it, but it cost us a lot of money to do. It was also a year of legal shit. Elysium fighting the patent thing for 3 years was likely an expensive and shitty process. I am glad they did, though.
