A balanced mood-regulating effect. It also does have an appetite suppression effect. It's not super noticeable for me, as I fast all day anyway. However, it could be useful for people that have issues with hunger.

I personally gravitate away from the 5-HT effects as well. This is why we are still making my "perfect" saffron. I wanted to release this one first, though. It's more what most people are looking for in a saffron.

It's mainly crocetin, which is the aglycone. It's not naturally high in most saffron.
