CD38 is an enzyme that increases as we age, and as a result, is the primary cause of age-related decline of Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD) through direct consumption.
From what I can tell, the most easily (industry) accessible molecules seem to be:
Apigenin
Luteolinidin
Luteolin
Kuromanin
Quercetin

Quercetin can have side effects due to being a zinc ionophore. At least, in my case, it does exacerbate my tendinopathy. Long story short, after some research, I've come to the conclusion that copper is needed for collagen synthesis, and the unbalance caused by zinc or zinc ionophores can exacerbate tendon pain. I'm just putting it out there as information based on my personal experience, since very few people talk about it.

Interesting! Do you have similar side effects with EGCG as well?
