CD38 is an enzyme that increases as we age, and as a result, is the primary cause of age-related decline of Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD) through direct consumption.
From what I can tell, the most easily (industry) accessible molecules seem to be:
Apigenin
Luteolinidin
Luteolin
Kuromanin
Quercetin

It doesn't seem like its benefits outweigh its cons

There are other studies showing it improves memory and cognition.

Then there was a human study showing it didn't have statistically significant effects either way.

the authors noted a trend with participants that had consumed quercetin performed somewhat (though not statistically significant) better than participants who received placebo. Based on these findings, the authors concluded that quercetin is unlikely to generate significant effects on cognitive functioning when ingested in quantities typically found in human diets or dietary supplements.
So it somewhat improved memory in the human subjects, but not to a statistically significant level. Also, it seems vitamin D levels affect how well quercetin improves memory.
