Edit: Check out MYASD's reply. Tl;dr is it's super shitty timing but their costs went up a lot so it sucks for everyone, no shadiness here.
I had my cart already picked out ahead of the sale (lol) and I just went in to add one more thing I forgot and noticed that a large number of items went up in price, some of them by a good bit too.

I agree wholeheartedly. I recently had my own paradigm shift and it really gave me a whole new perspective on things. I've since largely stopped participating in the divisiveness (I still occasionally find myself sucked in, but less and less often now).
There's a book I'm currently finishing up called The Change Code by Monica Bourgeau. It gives a basic but solid intro to Spiral Dynamics and how people can work to do exactly as you've said - reduce the chaos and work together.
I am hoping we can move forward instead of permanently backwards as it appears at surface level, and I do think it's possible - probable, in fact - but it will require a lot of work from those who aren't already divided. One thing I found a little comforting is that I've seen at least a couple people well-versed in SD note that this is the first time we haven't seen all out war at this stage of transition into the next layer (not among the countries poised for transition from Orange to Green, that is).
I, for one, will be doing my part to move us forward at least. Hopefully some others choose to hitch a ride at some point, I guess time will tell!

That's good! I wish more people would realize that the people at the top want us divided. It's easier to take advantage of situations when people are distracted fighting each other. It only hurts ourselves when we fill our lives with divisiveness and hate. I hope we as a society can start to recognize that more, and put our efforts into actually helping move humanity forward.
