Supply chain breakdown risks for Nootropics Depot?

This might be best answered by /u/misteryouaresodumb but I thought I'd post the question because it might be useful for others who are curious.
Is it true that $150k worth of supplies have been lost and rejected? And there's $500k currently in limbo? And certain supplies like bottles could end up arriving in a year from purchase?
I'm wondering what sort of risk this poses for Nootropics Depot?
Are there any details regarding what has caused customs to clamp down so tightly? Is there a foreseen date of when things will loosen up or is this probably going to persist under the current administration?
I'm just curious about the details around this\\these issues.

Yeah, definitely true. Shit's fucked right now. It's not just our industry, either. It's ALL industries. I am replacing all the ACs at my house, and their is an air conditioner shortage. I am also replacing the roof right now. There is a shortage of wood and metal flashing. I had to pay an insane amount to get the metal and fascia board to finish the roof. I bought a new washer/dryer, and it took over a month to get to me, and they were the wrong models. Anyone building a PC right now can attest to the supply shortages there. Try and get a video card or console gaming system right now. Try to get bicycle parts right now. Some people are buying whole bikes just to get the components off of them, as there is a shortage on some parts that they are saying might last till 2022! There is a shortage of paint right now. Sherwin Williams by me is all sold out of some types of paint. There is a cobalt shortage at the moment, due to China buying up all the mines. Well what do you think makes the blue color in our plastic bottles? It's COBALT BLUE! LOL. The refineries shut down, and some were damaged, due to that winter storm that hit Texas recently. This has caused a ripple effect in the plastics industry. We can't get fucking caps to save our life at the moment. We are trying to get as many caps and liners as we can to prevent inventory issues. There is a shortage of shipping containers right now, which is making it difficult to even load goods for sea travel. Then there is a shortage of actual ships to carry them. Longshoreman are in short supply as well, which is exacerbating the issue with slow unloading times. Because sea shipping is so fucked, companies are scrambling to move to air shipping, which is doubling the cost. Well most air freight travels in the belly of commuter planes, and international air travel is down right now. This means there are less planes to actually get the good into. I could go on and on and on... Shit's fucked, yo.
As to when it will get better? Beats the hell out of me. Everyone is scrambling to try and fix things. Nobody predicted what happened after the whole world went into lockdown. Everyone thought the economy was fucked, so they furloughed people, laid them off, and stopped production on almost everything. Then everyone got shitloads of free money from stimuli, and they were not spending money on eating out or traveling, so they started buying shit. Everyone started buying tons and tons of shit, but the suppliers and manufacturers had shut down and laid people off. They even took cargo ships out of circulation in anticipation for a recession. Then everyone started renovating their houses and buying up real estate. This made everyone in that side of the industry scramble to meet demand. Then just as an extra fuck you, US Customs started inspecting EVERY SINGLE PACKAGE coming into the country starting around December 20th. We've had some things take over 100 days to clear customs. I think our polygala has been with the FDA since December, and it was just released TODAY!!! I really can't express how fucking nuts of a situation this all is. If you don't see me around as much recently, it's because my days are being spent trying to keep things running till this shit can all get sorted out.
