Supply chain breakdown risks for Nootropics Depot?

This might be best answered by /u/misteryouaresodumb but I thought I'd post the question because it might be useful for others who are curious.
Is it true that $150k worth of supplies have been lost and rejected? And there's $500k currently in limbo? And certain supplies like bottles could end up arriving in a year from purchase?
I'm wondering what sort of risk this poses for Nootropics Depot?
Are there any details regarding what has caused customs to clamp down so tightly? Is there a foreseen date of when things will loosen up or is this probably going to persist under the current administration?
I'm just curious about the details around this\\these issues.

Why? With racetams specifically? How/why would that be?

Our government seems to be hell bent on taking everyone's free choice away from them. It's strange. We are moving toward nationwide recreational marijuana use, but we can't have cognitive liberty to try and improve our cognition, too? Why can't we all just decide for ourselves what we put into our own bodies? We don't even have a legal framework in this country for nootropics. The FDA thinks things can only be one of two things: either a drug to treat a disease, or something to supplement one's diet. A compound used to help improve one's cognition is not even considered. If it is, they try to paint it as a drug; since dementia is a disease. They even are trying to say that age-related memory issues are a disease now. Everything is a disease in their mind; even things that happen to everyone as they age. If everything is a disease, nothing is a disease.
