For anyone who ordered yesterday, has your shipping status updated?

Normally when I order, I get an email with the tracking info like within an hour and then later in the evening I get a text from Fed Ex once they have it and then texts for subsequent updates. However for the order I placed yesterday morning, I got the email with the tracking, but it hasn't updated yet and still says Fed Ex hasn't received it. So I don't know if it didn't go out yet or if it did but Fed Ex isn't scanning it. I thought there might be a chance of a delay because of increased orders on Friday and Monday, but when I ordered it still said it would ship same day so I didn't think it would be an issue.

It depends on when you ordered. Anything ordered before the cutoff went out yesterday, and my team stayed till 7pm to pick, pack and ship the rest. However, those would not be physically scanned by FedEx till today. 5pm is the cutoff for FedEx to get the packages in hand. They sit and wait with their truck at our facility till we give them all the packages, though. The only exception is Saturdays, when we usually manually drop off to the FedEx distribution center just before 5pm. The Saturday pickup is a different driver, and he doesn't wait around for all our packages like our M-F driver does, so we usually have to manually drop off end of day Saturday. We did have one Saturday when they locked up the doors exactly at 5pm, and they would not open them for my team when they got there a few minutes late. However, that was a single time on a Saturday, and we give extra padding time now that we know they don't play around with that 5pm cutoff. I guess the workers there want to go home, and lock those doors at 5pm on the dot. LOL
To say we had a lot of orders on Black Friday and Cyber Monday would be a vast understatement, though. We had a fuckload of orders! That's a metric fuckload orders, too; not an imperial fuckload. We did more in sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday than some vendors do in a whole year. No joke. Shit was nuts! So saying our fulfillment team was busy doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. However, if you give me your order number I can look up the details.
