Questions about Quercetin bioavailability

I have read many conflicting studies on the relative bioavailability of Quercetin. I know there are manufacturers that use lecithin to create “phytosome” versions to increase absorption and utilization, but I also know that sometimes just taking a greater amount of a lesser bioavailable form is often the most economical option. Do you guys at ND (or anyone else) have any guidance or knowledge on this?
Here is an example for illustration purposes only; not speaking about the quality of the study at all, just to show the type of study that makes it confusing to pick a quality quercetin supplement:

“Despite the potential benefits, bioavailability of quercetin is low with estimations that only 20% of the administered dose reaches the blood.
This is where Indena’s use of a delivery system based on food-grade lecithin offers a solution: According to data published in European Journal of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics the Quercetin Phytosome (Quercefit) proved to be up to 20-fold more bioavailable.”

Thanks for the reply; it is informative.
Can I ask what side effects you have experienced? I have taken both the phytosome form and the standard form, and experienced no side effects at all with either — at least that I have attributed to the quercetin. Now you have me curious if I have perhaps overlooked a connection.

I got anxiety and over-stimulation from EMIQ. It might be fine on its own, but it does not work well with my stack of things like NMN, berberine, CoQ10, etc. I am fine with a 500mg dose of our regular quercetin. I get some extra stimulation, but it is manageable. EMIQ made me on edge all the time. My product specialist also had that same effect. Pair that with the cost, and we decided to just do regular quercetin for now.
