Phenylpiracetam smells like cheap plastic

I've ordered 30g from nootropics depot. The stuff that came has this intensive smell. It's hard to describe but it does remind me of crappy plastic and even the smell you get from batteries/cheap electronic stuff.
Is this normal/acceptable?
The previous time that I ordered from them I did not notice any smell but then again it was only 5g so it might have something to do with that. I mean, differences in the way they make smaller vs bigger packages if that's a thing.

Also everytime I’ve gotten phenylpiracetam (multiple different vendors) its had a ‘plasticy’ smell. Lots of substances smell like industrial byproduct lmao

We do organoletpic approvals on all batches of phenylpiracetam, and do residual solvent testing on our GC-FID as well. Nothing can be hiding in there because we would catch it in the lab. Larger amounts of a powder will always have a stronger smell than smaller amounts. Also, smell is variable. The FID detector on our gas chromatograph is not.
