Yes, it seems to be. I have been taking it daily for half a year. I cycle off for a couple weeks sometimes, and don't notice any rebound or other side effects. So far it seems to be very safe and well-tolerated. If you are worried about TrkB down-regulation, you can always cycle in polygala for a bit, which up-regulates TrkB.
