Amount of piperine to inhibit CYP3A4?

What they were answering

xyz679 · 1 points

I would personally avoid piperine in that instance. I actually suggest avoiding inhibiting CYP enzymes at all these days.

Oh, what changed? I thought you've had it figured out that preventing the metabolism to MDA would prevent a lot of the neurotoxicity. Just wondering how it all works if its not too much to explain.

Long-term tolerance is a tough one. We still don't fully understand all the mechanisms at play.

Thanks, that one isn't a big deal though, what about repairing the damage that those hydroxyl radicals potentially caused? Any idea on what could help restore those dead neurons besides the things I've already tried. Not even sure they were the right things.

Appreciate the answers (:

Rip original post, are these kinds of questions not ok on this sub? I couldn't really find a list of rules anywhere.

That was my theory from years ago. I have learned a lot since then. I still think metabolism to MDA is a big part of it. However, the specific enzymes that cause it are not as clear as I thought before. There might not be a way to prevent all the metabolism. It's much easier and safer to just address the toxic metabolites themselves with antioxidants.

I would say uridine, lion's mane, 7,8-DHF, noopept, semax, and P21.

We will generally shy away from the discussion of scheduled substances here. This is more an ND sub. I didn't want you to feel like I was ignoring you, but I think removing the post is appropriate because of the nature of the legality of the compound being discussed.

Anyone experimented with THT's CNTF fragment 147-150?

No!!!! You can't just say, "Ohh, the active sequence in P21 is DGGL, so let's just sell powdered DGGL!" Pharmacodynamics do not work like that! That would be like saying, "Ohh dopamine is good. Let's sell powdered dopami

Has taking nootropics changed the way you perceive reality?

Replying to LockeHardcastle · Out of curiosity, may I ask which tools you prefer, personally?

Legal: Semax and its derivatives, P21, Epitalon, 7,8-DHF, lion's mane, polygala, nigella sativa, coluracetam/fasoracetam/pramiracetam/oxiracetam, other stuff we have created and are working on in the background. Not so

Has anyone found SEMAX helpful for (social) anxiety issues ?

Semax is very different than Cerebrolysin. Our P21 is the one that is similar to Cerebro. Semax is more like a stimulating noopept, if that makes any sense.

Nootropics Depot: Mushroom Extracts!

Replying to QuantumLife · Do all of those extracts take multiple weeks to see their effects? (like Lion's Mane)

No. Lion's Mane is a neurogenic one. Neurogenic compounds usually take time to affect the brain. Think of how Semax, Selank, or Noopept build over time. Other mushroom extracts have immediate effects on things like: impr
