Need some help understanding a NAC experience I had

Hey everyone, I've been long waiting to post this thread on reddit, and finally months after the actual experience I've got a chance to post about it, so here we go.
Here's the first thread I posted, hoping to get some involvement from the community so I could understand the mechanism of action by which I lost most of my visual memory and ability to visualize.

Hey everyone, so I've been taking NAC in the past for up to a week at 600 mg doses, and one thing that I've noticed the first time I did a "cycle" was that it completely messed up my visual memory.
I used to have a very pronounced photographic like memory, but it almost completely went away within the couple of days after dosing NAC, now after discontinuing I'd say that 20% came back and has been like that since, that was more than 3 months ago.
It did help with my mental state that's for sure, and I wouldn't necessarily say that my memory as…

Lion's mane was causing slight brain fog, low libido during 2 weeks I tried (ran 2 trials with same effects) guess it just isn't for me.
I've read that NAC messes with glutamate and that glutamate levels are closely related to our ability to make mental images, if that's true would sarcosine be something worth trying also?

Sarcosine is one that you either love or hate. Many people do get good effects from it, though. However, I am not sure it would affect visual memory. We are talking higher-level processes that we have not fully elucidated yet.
