Ephedrine completely eliminates my anxiety

This requires some back story, so please bear with me. Any advice would be much appreciated.
For 2 years, I had a series of health issues from living in a house that had a hidden water leak and therefore covered in mold.
I moved out in October of last year, and my health has returned for the most part.
There is one thing that is still lingering, and that is periodic anxiety and racing thoughts.
I never had any issues with this in the past, and it's very different from the typical experience I have with anxiety where it is connected to a specific event in the past or the future.
Instead, the best way I can describe it is that my brain is actively searching for things in my past to be anxious about.
It could be something from 10 minutes ago or ten years!
It results in multiple flashing memories, and often something close to a panic attack.
This used to happen numerous times a day.
I've tried every anxiolytic compound recommended on this sub with no effect or even paradoxical effects.
I also cut out coffee and stayed away from any stimulants because it made sense that this would help lessen these episodes. Nothing made much of a difference.

Ephedrine is like the worst thing for me... the anxiety I got from both natural Ephedra capsules and pure ephedrine tablets... both "standard doses"... was intense. Hours of pure physical stimulation, no mental/cognitive boosts at all.. no "buzz" of any kind... it made me extremely uncomfortable. Bad stuff!
And I'm saying this even as someone with profound inattentive ADD. Although I benefit greatly from coffee and do indeed find some level of "calming focus" with it, even coffee will sometimes increase anxiety.
It seems like a strange thing that stimulants (which are reliably helpful for ADD) can also worsen anxiety, for some of us! While others, seemingly the OP and yourself, more often find a relief from anxiety... I don't get it man

Everyone is different. I feel fantastic on ephedrine and pseudoephedrine. I almost feel better on them than amphetamine. I actually feel almost worse on DRIs. So for me at least, I need more adrenergic activity without too much dopamine. My brain does well with just the right balance of DA, NE, and 5-HT. Push one too far and it is counterproductive, at least for me.
