Ephedrine completely eliminates my anxiety

This requires some back story, so please bear with me. Any advice would be much appreciated.
For 2 years, I had a series of health issues from living in a house that had a hidden water leak and therefore covered in mold.
I moved out in October of last year, and my health has returned for the most part.
There is one thing that is still lingering, and that is periodic anxiety and racing thoughts.
I never had any issues with this in the past, and it's very different from the typical experience I have with anxiety where it is connected to a specific event in the past or the future.
Instead, the best way I can describe it is that my brain is actively searching for things in my past to be anxious about.
It could be something from 10 minutes ago or ten years!
It results in multiple flashing memories, and often something close to a panic attack.
This used to happen numerous times a day.
I've tried every anxiolytic compound recommended on this sub with no effect or even paradoxical effects.
I also cut out coffee and stayed away from any stimulants because it made sense that this would help lessen these episodes. Nothing made much of a difference.

What's the difference between ephedrine and pseudo?
u/MisterYouAreSoDumb · Natrium Health & Nootropics Depot
They are very similar. Ephedrine is a stronger systemic stim. So it is better for fat loss. I also notice more vasoconstriction with it. In fact, some studies show ephedrine is 4X as potent at raising blood pressure. Pseudoephedrine is more mentally stimulating. The biggest difference between them is that the beta-adrenergic affinities of pseudo are less, while both are strong at alpha. So ephedrine hits alpha and beta strongly, while pseudo hits alpha primarily. Honestly, I most often use pseudo these days. I like the mental stimulating aspects without the systemic and blood pressure effects.
