Any intermittent-fasters here? When do you take your Noots?

I am struggling because I am not sure if the supplements break the fast and by the time I break the fast with a meal it's noon and I want to be able to be sharper in the morning especially since I don't drink coffee.

Thanks for any advice!

Yeah no shit. I’ve had this same thought for years, no idea why it’s not a thing. Psssst u/MisterYouAreSoDumb

It's way more complex than anyone here realizes. Also, just because something is fat soluble does NOT mean you need to take it with fat to absorb. I have ranted about that many times on here. Take aniracetam for example. It's fat soluble, but rapidly and completely absorbs on an empty stomach. Take pramiracetam as well. That's BOTH fat and water soluble. The idea that you need to take fat soluble things with fat for them to absorb makes no sense if you understand how bioavailability works. Look up Lipinski's rule of five. That's a good start to understanding oral bioavailability. It is way more complex than that, but at least you start to get an idea.
Moral of the story, 90% of things absorb best on an empty stomach. The things that don't are not going to be affected by eating food or taking it with some oil, save for VERY few. Vitamin D is one, but that is just because you need to slow stomach motility down. It has nothing to do with the food or fat. It's all about making the supplement into a bioavailable form. Look at our Microzinc or CoQSol-CF. Those are actual strategies for making it absorb better. If you just took CoQ10 or zinc oxide with fat/food, it wouldn't do shit.
